That Night Follows Day

In a collaboration with the Southbank Centre back in 2018, seventeen young people aged between 8 – 15 from around London, came together to create a full version of Tim Etchells’ text That Night Follows Day. Written for an adult audience, and performed by children, what was created would resonate with the Purcell Room audience over SIX performances in a truly moving and memorable way.

The project felt like a coming together of our work with young people, I was so inspired by their commitment, the kinship and support of each other. It was hard work but there was laughter and a lot of warm up games!”
